Pakistani women Celebrate 100th International Women’s Day Islamabad

Programme:
Rally from Kalsoom Plaza to Parade Choke, in front of Parliament House, Islamabad
11 am – 1.30 pm
Tuesday, 8th March
The activities in the rally include:
– Speeches by women’s activists
– Presenting Women’s Charter of Demands
– Theatre play and singing

Rehana Hashmi would Coordinate the event; at the D choke, following members of Insani Haqooq Itehad would make speeches, 1-2 minutes:
Wasim Wagha – as coordinator IHI,
Tahira Abdulla – importance of 100th celebration of International Women’s Day,
Farzana Bari, Sameena Nazir, Arifa Mazhar would read a poem
Rubina Bhatti as representative from minorities
Rabeeha Hadi, Rabia Aslam, Nazar Taj a poem, Noshaba Arif or ED Cavish.
Then Nasreen Azhar (member National Commission would read the Charter of Demand set by women.
Then, theater from Pattan.
Areeb Azhar, especially called for the event would sing for the event.

– kesa chaheya Pakistan – brabar hon jahan sabh insan’
– Ham sab ka ek he naara – Aman hey haq hamara
– Yeh dehshat gardi, yeh mullah gardi nahen chali ge
– Ham aman phelaney nikley haien – Aao hamarey saath chalo
– Ham mulk bachaney nickley haien – Aao ha**marey saath chal
** We have prepared badges written ‘83100’ (100th 8 March, International Women’s Day)
